Stolen Children

From a Time of Darkness,
Dusty voices call.
Muddy tears streaming,
Down unfeeling rocks.
Lights extinguished forever,
By a Twisted Cross.
Yet we remember,
Who They were.
Their innocence,
Taken from them.
Brave Soldiers,
Breaking tiny bodies.
Yet Their lights,
Shine once more.
In a room,
Full of stars.
Reflecting Them,
Into infinity.
Names, places, dates,
Drift on air.
They We remember,
They We love.
